Press Release Body:
Accidents do happen in the office. Few office workers realize that they are twice as
likely to be injured in a fall as a non-office worker. Nationally, only automobile
accidents out number falls as the leading cause of all accidents. In the office
slips, trips and falls are the number one cause of disabling injuries.

The owner of a business, employees, and visiting customers have rights to have safe
conditions in the workplace. Failing to do so can result in personal injury, disease
or general poor health. Such occurrences can result in liability against the
business and maybe the owner personally.

Pro-action is the approach and not a reactive one to Health and Safety. The owner
and employees are the key in the business. It is therefore important that the owner
introduce Health & Safety precautions to avoid injuries instead of dealing with the
injury when they do happen.

Thinking and working safely can prevent most accidents. SOHOs and small businesses
can become aware of the most common hazards in the office environment.

Fewer accidents, injuries, and illnesses will lower workers' compensation costs and
insurance premium rates and can increase the profit of the business.

ABB Safety Net introduces the Office Safety Program; it has many of the same
elements found in other non-office environments. However, different potentials for
personal injury and property damage are present -- the office has relatively few
hazardous chemicals and no heavy or moving machinery. Like their production
counterparts, in office settings employees should know what to do in case of an
emergency, be provided with a safe and efficient work area, and have safety
awareness.

Topics of concern are: stress management, ergonomics, electrical concerns,
housekeeping, and emergency preparedness

The safety manual is:
. The company\'s safety mission statement.
. An outline the entire safety program.
. The company\'s safety policies and procedures.
. A list of the company's safety equipment and protective gear.
. Training, hazard assessment, and a hazard communication plan.
. A list of names of the members of safety team.

Contact ABB Safety Net about the Office Safety Program at: abbsafetynet@gmail.com;
it can be easily implemented in the office. The program will help expose unseen
hazards and help implement ways to control them. The program includes a simple
safety audit and a short editable safety program to help the single to multiple
employee office become safer.
